This nationally significant biennial award has been presented by Wangaratta Art Gallery since 2009 and will again showcase textile artistry and talent from across Australia. Wangaratta has a long and prominent history of textile manufacturing and as a craft form. Wangaratta Art Gallery builds upon this unique tradition and social history by presenting this outstanding award. The award and exhibition of finalists showcase the high calibre practice of Australian artists. This award is committed to the advancement and growth of contemporary textiles.
