Gallery & Museum Manager Broken Hill The Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery is the oldest regional art gallery in New South Wales. Established in 1904, it is housed in an award-winning heritage building located in the heart of Broken Hill and provides a quality program of exhibitions, education activities and public programs for the enjoyment and engagement of the community and visitors to the region. The Albert Kersten Mining & Minerals Museum (GeoCentre) is located in a renovated 19th Century stone and timber building. The GeoCentre was established in 1993 to explain the unique Geology of Broken Hill and to exhibit the much-acclaimed mineral collection of Broken Hill City Council with over 900 specimens on display. It continues to be a cultural centre of excellence for the community and a leading tourist attraction for the City. Broken Hill City Council have a career opportunity working within the Corporate and Cultural Services unit as Gallery & Museum Manager. Reporting directly to the Chief Corporate & Community Officer, you will support Broken Hill City Council to deliver broad prospects for cultural and economic participation. Read more here
