Continuing our series showcasing our local talented screen creatives. This week we introduce Brad McLachlan.
Brad McLachlan is a local Broken Hill musician and actor and like most regional/remote based creatives he works across a portfolio of creative interests. In this short 12 minute audio he tells us a little bit about what he has been involved in and the local film, theatre and music scenes.
Brad is a member of Screen Broken Hill and has appeared in a number of productions filmed in Broken Hill over the last few years: The Code, The Last Cab to Darwin, Strangerland, Total Control and the RFDS. He has also worked on the film production side in the art department.
Brad has acted in a number of local theatre productions at Theatre 44 and in the United We Stand production at the Trades Hall every week for passengers of the Indian Pacific train heading to Perth. He will be appearing in the bush band of the local production of Reedy River in early June.
