Wilcannia River Radio Receives Funding
Wilcannia River Radio received more than $130,000 from an emergency COVID-19 Grant. It'll pay for a new studio, media centre, and much needed maintenance work. The funding, obtained with the help of the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA), will reinvigorate the entire space, including adding a second studio and fixing a number of longstanding maintenance issues."It is something we're needed for many years," said Wilcannia River Radio's Brendon Adams.
