I studied at The Tasmanian School of Art. In 1996 I had my first solo exhibition at The Brian Moore Gallery in Sydney. The same year I won The Waverly Woollahra Art Prize (pastel section).

I have exhibited in Sydney, Brisbane and Port Douglas.

My knowledge and understanding of the Outback has come after spending 20 years in Diamantina Country and The Simpson Desert.

Finally after coming from the Blue Mountains my partner and I have settled in Broken Hill. I now am working seriously on what this country and its creatures mean to me.

I hope the punctuated small trees, shrubs and shadows draw you into the work and the bold drawings ask a different question of you!

The colours of the Desert never fail to excite me and inspire me. This ancient land looks very harsh and empty yet it is full of life and quite fragile.
