MMIAA 2025 Entries Open
This year marks Maari Ma's 30th anniversary and we are celebrating with an increased prize pool and new categories.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists living in the Maari Ma and West Darling Arts regions are invited to enter.
Prizes include:
- Open / Overall Winner – $5,000
- 2D Winner – $2,500
- Sculptural Winner – $2,500
- Emerging Winner – $2,000
- Nhuungku Winner – $2,000
- People’s Choice – $2,000
- School Combined Entry Prize Pack – $2,000
- Young Artist (16–21) Prize Pack – $1,000
- Young Artist (Under 15) Prize Pack – $500 (WDA)
Key dates:
- Entries open: Monday, 1 September 2025
- Entries close: Sunday, 2 November 2025
- Exhibition dates: 7 November 2025 – 8 February 2026
- Opening night and award announcements: Friday, 7 November 2025
Artists may submit up to two works in any medium. Works must have been created within the past 12 months and be ready for exhibition.
