Living Heritage Festival 2024

This month we’re looking forward to our ‘Living Heritage Festival’. Five Broken Hill based artists have created work in response to various aspects of the Silver City’s heritage. From its mining roots to its rebel women, its fight for water rights, and its unique and rare natural and built environments.

Artists Joshua de Gruchy, Kelly Leonard, Dan Schulz, Verity Nunan, and Aimee Volkofsky will hold a mirror to the city’s complex history. The event will run over two evenings at the Broken Hill Art Exchange.

Opening night is at dusk (6:30PM) on Saturday the 20th of April, and will be open again on the evening of Sunday the 21st.

The Living Heritage Festival 2024 has been made possible with support from Create NSW’s Rescue and Restart Program, with thanks to the Broken Hill Art Exchange.
