Spotlight on Laneway Festival Artists -Otis Filley GLAMfest - Gawler Laneway Arts & Music Festival has a number of fantastic artists and musicians participating in the festival which will be held on Easter Saturday from 5pm. Today we are introducing Otis Filley. Otis Filley is a documentary filmmaker and journalist currently living in Far Western NSW. His work explores human relationships to place through individual enquiries into specific histories, cultures, and environments. Otis has been documenting artists visits and residencies in Broken Hill as part of GLAMFest 2023. He is making seven films that show a slice of each artist’s time and enquiry in the region, Artists are professional thinkers of culture, context, time and place, Otis uses the heightened curiosity of these artists and their experiences as a tool to tell a larger story of the history of the region and its adaptability to the rapidly changing environment. GLAMfest is proudly supported by the Australian Government's Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund. GLAMfest is presented with the Broken Hill Heritage Festival.
