Barkintji Dancers
In 2019, ‘Outback filmmaker’ Jason King, accompanied the Barkintji Dancers along the Baaka (Darling) River as part of the Yaama Ngunna Baaka Corroboree Festival to doccument the festival highlighting the plight of the Baaka and its irrevocable cultural and practical importance to the First Nations of Far West NSW. Thanks to all those who contributed.
This project was funded by the Australian Government’s ‘Indigenous Languages and Arts’ grant funding programme.
