Get Off Your Arts: Easter Arts & Culture Across Broken Hill & Silverton
This Easter, locals and visitors are invited to step into the rich creative life of Far West NSW with Get Off Your Arts — a vibrant arts and culture experience spanning Broken Hill and Silverton.
TICKETS
Presented by the Broken Hill & Silverton Arts and Culture Tourism Network, the event is designed to make exploring the region’s creative spaces easy, welcoming and affordable. With tickets priced at just $25, it’s a chance to reconnect with the stories, artists and heritage that make this place so distinctive.
Choose Your Way to Explore
Over the Easter weekend, participants can join guided bus tours on Saturday and Sunday, or opt for a self-drive arts trail running throughout the month — perfect for flexible, at-your-own-pace discovery.
Along the way, you’ll visit galleries, museums, studios and artist-run spaces, collecting passport stamps at participating venues for the chance to win a $500 arts voucher.
Art, Heritage & Local Flavour
Local artists have created new work especially for the event, including “Mud & Metal,” a joint exhibition by local jeweler Kelly Leonard and potter Kathy Graham at the Broken Hill Art Exchange.
Tour highlights include studio visits, heritage spaces and relaxed social moments, from a sausage sizzle at the Historic Railway & Migrant Museum, to live local music, food and refreshments to close the day.
Sunday’s journey ventures to Silverton’s historic streets and creative hubs, finishing with a celebratory glass of bubbles at sunset at Mundi Mundi Lookout.
Join the Adventure
Whether you’re rediscovering your hometown or visiting the region, Get Off Your Arts is an invitation to experience culture where it’s made — in studios, galleries and landscapes shaped by big skies and bold stories.
Tickets available here or at Broken Hill City Art Gallery.
