LIVE MUSIC MONTH Spotlight on Leroy Johnson

Leroy Johnson is a Barkindji/Malyangaapa man with strong connections to the lower Baaka (Darling) communities in far western NSW. Leroy is the first Aboriginal Park Manager of Mutawintji National Park, a place which provides much of the inspiration for his music. The Waterbag Band join Leroy on double bass, mandolin, didgeridoo and harmonies for a soulful, country, toe-tappin' set, blending traditional music, with ancient and contemporary stories.

Leroy Johnson will be playing at Bells Milk Bar on the 24 April.
The Waterbag Band will be playing at BHP on the 14 May.
