Meet + Greet

Film is an essential part of Broken Hill’s cultural identity and visitor economy. Screen Broken Hill was established to encourage the growth of the film industry in the city, both from visiting film makers as well as home grown productions.

Screen Broken Hill became a subcommittee of West Darling Arts in 2019 and both are now housed in new premises at The Arts and Media Hub at 242 Blende Street.

Like many, SBH has had a quiet couple of years but is now keen to start getting out there, meeting people, raising awareness for who we are and what we do and as such, Screen Broken Hill warmly invite experienced or interested creatives in all aspects of filmmaking + screen production, to an informal gathering. Whether you have been involved in major productions, made a short film on your phone, have an interest in acting or set design we would love to meet you. This is an informal meet and greet and everyone is most welcome.
