Looking back at 2021, WDA delivered an estimated $260,000 worth of services to the communities of our contributing councils of Broken Hill, Wentworth Shire, Central Darling Shire and the Western Unincorporated Area. Some of these services included:
+ Live Music Month
+ Developing Culture Map of Broken Hill and the Far West
+ Life Drawing/Live Music
+ Sturt’s Steps and Pooncarie public art projects
+ Country Art Support Program grants for Theatre 44 Under the Silver Tree + Wentworth Council (murals in Wentworth + Pooncarie)
+ Partnering with the Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery, Broken Hill Library + Wentworth Library on events
+ Little Wings Puppet Shows
+ Artists in Residence in Wilcannia, Whitecliffs, Menindee, Wentworth
+ Wirtu’wirtulinya - Three Sisters Exhibition (Jade Cicak, Taya Biggs, Elisha Mangal) at the Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery
+ Jewellery Workshop Broken Hill
+ Weaving Workshop Tilpa
