Fresh Water: Festival for the Barka!
To align with the prize announcements of the Maari Ma Indigenous Art Prize, the GeoCentre will host an evening festival celebrating First Nations Communities along the Barka-Darling and will showcase artistic and cultural practices from the region through music, dance, art and food.
The Line-up includes Leroy Johnson and the Waterbag Band & Nancy Bates and will celebrate Badger Bates' and Wilcannia students' inclusion in the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, rivus.
Saturday 9th April from 5pm - 8pm at the GeoCentre, Corner of Crystal and Bromide Streets.
