Fresh Water: Festival for the Barka
Broken Hill City Art Gallery, Albert Kersten Mining & Minerals Museum, Biennale of Sydney and the Art Gallery of New South Wales present Fresh Water: Festival for the Barka to coincide with Uncle Badger Bates' and Wilcannia students' inclusion in the 23rd Biennale of Sydney, rivus.
This festival celebrates First Nations Communities along the Barka-Darling and will showcase artistic and cultural practices from the region through music, dance, art and food.
The event will include performances by Leroy Johnson and the Waterbag Band @leroy johnson and Nancy Bates.

When: Saturday 9th April, 5pm - 8pm
Where: GeoCentre Garden - Corner of Bromide and Crystal Streets
Cost: Free - BBQ dinner provided
