October 13, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

| Free

Are you an Aboriginal Artist looking to improve the quality of your work, wanting to learn how to print to canvas or interested in discovering different painting supports?

West Darling Arts is holding a canvas stretching and surface preparation workshop with Ian Howarth on Thursday 13th October at the Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery. Ian will demonstrated the art of stretching canvas and involve participants in hands on stretching of both large and small canvas. We will explore different painting surfaces including top quality linen canvas, clayboards and wooden supports.

A local printer and sign writer will also be on hand to discuss printing work to canvas, clothing and other marketing opportunities.

This workshop is free to Aboriginal Artists. Light Supper provided.
To book your place at this workshop inbox, phone or text Kathy on 0428 145 814.

This workshop is a professional development workshop funded by the Australian Government through the Indigenous Languages and Arts (projects) as part of West Darling Art’s Broadening Community Reach Project.
