West Darling Art’s is pleased to announce three successful CASP applicants in our region.

Broken Hill Potters Society Inc: $4,535 to teach members of the Society how to construct and fire a soda kiln and learn the many different aspects of the clay, glazing and firing.
Broken Hill Repertory Society Inc: $5,000 to engage facilitators from the Short and Sweet Festival to come to Broken Hill and conduct two weekends of workshops. The sessions will cover play writing, directing and acting with a series of plays produced and performed based as a result of the workshops.

White Cliffs Music Festival Inc: $4,975 to engage a five piece bluegrass band who will conduct workshops at the White Cliffs Music Festival in 2017. The workshops will engage with various instruments including mandolin, fiddle, guitar, banjo and upright bass.
